I also like to opt for a power strip with surge protection, which protects devices from damage that can occur from power surges.

Have Portable Chargers to Free Up Outlet Space

If you’re not keen on power strips or just don’t have many available outlets, you can opt to buy multiple portable chargers instead. You can charge a portable charger before (or during) your holiday event, then offer an outlet-free way of charging to your guests.

Portable charges are especially nice to have if your guests want to check their phones frequently but don’t want to leave their devices in a corner or at an inaccessible outlet the entire time.
